this week’s Good Youtube is dedicated to my most-listened to music of 2024 thanks to the YouTube Music recap I just got. and listen. all these apps are shit to artists. Youtube music is shit. But I am on a friend’s family plan so I get it for free and I just do this thing where I buy merch and vinyls and cds direct to pay my dues!!!!! unfortunately i’ve become one of those people who thinks vinyls sound really good :( god :( those annoying boys were right this whole time and by annoying boy i mean my boyfriend
so anyway. the recap said I’m in the top whatever per cent of Indigo de Souza listeners :)

and then new to me after seeing them perform at glasto via iplayer, Mannequin Pussy. this music video, and song, is great. i’ve listened to 1000 times. the app didn’t say that, i did.

and then I listened to the Japanese Breakfast ‘Sable’ soundtrack 1000 more times, and 30 hours of Lana Del Rey, and the billie eyelash album. I listened to 18K minutes of music this year AND 18K minutes of audiobooks. My ears are in perfect balance.
