I knitted our book cover

we both turned 30 this year so i wanted to make something for zarina because made gifts are more special imo. My only craft skill is knitting so I got her measurements and made this:

for the knitters: I used Hayfield Bonus Chunky Yarn in Pink, Primrose, Bright Lemon and Lemongrass holding 2 strands together. The pattern is the Nice Slipover from Lærke Bagger’s book Close Knit. I did duplicate stitch for the lemon, and I added a blanket stitch around the neck. You can see other things I have knitted here.

I really enjoy knitting but I really deeply love it when the knitting has some kind of imagery. I need to get into intarsia tbh. That will have to be my next knitting goal.

Zarina said she will wear it on the book tour in October hehe
